I can personally attest that the http://www.redcross.org/ website is quick, user friendly and seems to direct the funds to Typhoon relief.

Of course my post is not intended to discuss the merits of this charitable organization over the many others working hard to help or judge which world crisis is more worthy of support.

Palmtalk is one of the many opportunities to make the world seem smaller when it counts.

Thank you for the video which was new to me. Seeing is more effective than words.

Perhaps I will remember this video and have the good sense to leave the island if such a storm is predicted to hit Puerto Rico in the future.

Stronger winds are still hard to imagine.
