Why is it that PalmTalk regularely fails to load after around 10PM PDT, and especially on Friday and Saturday evenings? Do you guys have some sort of service level agreements? If so, you may want to check to see if your provider is violating them.

We have been having repeated DOS type "attacks" that spikes our memory/load capacity, and effectively shuts down the site momentarily - in which case it has to start up and re-load various properties before it starts operating again. We are trying to do something about it. First it was Bing - that was fixed. Then it was Google - and they won't "listen" to our robots.txt. And more often lately it is Chinese IPs - and they have more blocks of IPs than I have been able to exclude.

Thankfully it is only momentary (half hour or so) but sometimes happens repeatedly. I am not sure what can be done - but we continue to research it.
