Here are two shots of my S. minor. It's been in the ground for a few years in Northern Illinois, and it looks like it's going to flower this year.

Mine just flowered this year after being in the ground for two years. I was very excited to see the bloom.

I'll try to post updates.

Mine has some big spikes on it now and is holding seed for the first time. I found a pic from 3 years ago and it's really grown since then. Went from a 5 gal plant to a pretty big plant pretty fast.
