There is a nursery by me that has tons of the rarer Trachys in 5g sizes. I've been dropping in a lot of takils and martianus. I'm trying to germinate some princeps myself.

hi ben,

Can you tell me what nursery you are referencing?

I work in Emeryville a few weeks a month and always looking for some of the more rare trachys to bring back to Texas.

Any other nurseries you can suggest around me?

Thanks

Golden Gate Palms in Richmond seem to be trachy specialists. Not that far from Emeryville, probably 15-20 mins. You will find takil, martianus, latisectus, there for sure...along with fortunei. I got almost all my trachys from them, and they should have a range of sizes 5g and up.

Some of us in north Florida have most all of the trachy genus. T. fortunei is popular and proven and the only one the average consumer has heard of so therein lies the problem.
