Tim - what is your experience of viability of the (Jubaea x Butia F2) X Parajubaea seeds? How many times have you done this cross or is this the first?

I have 100 (Jubaea x Butia F2) X Parajubaea Sunkha seeds that are available again since I decided not to ship to Australia. Those Aussies are very particular about imports.

I imagine these seeds were only Jubaea x Butia f2 seeds, but then they germinated?

Gyuseppe, they must have, I have 1 plant from a Dutch friend. I've grown lots of Jubaea and Butia crosses, but this seems very different as the texture of the leaves is much softer. The leaves started as simple, then bifid with windows, and now turning pinnate. I put a picture of it recently on EPS.

UK zone 8b/9a. No heavy frosts. Occasional -6c. Dull wet winters. Cool summers.
