Traveling The World

Haven't traveled much outside of the continental U.S. but I have been to:

Hawaii (Big Island, Maui, Oahu)

Canada (Niagra Falls area only) and

Australia (Cairns, Green Island, Kuranda, Sidney, Melbourne, Alice Springs/Uluru, and Tasmania--drove Hobart to Port Arthur to Bicheno over to Cradle Mountain and Launceston)

Focus was usually more nature than big city. Sadly not particularly into palms during those trips although we did visit the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden north of Hilo on two different trips to the island. It's always a must see when there.

Nature? And you missed the Top End of Oz? Oh.... you have to come back!!

Regards, Ari :)

Hi Ari. Yeah Kuranda was the closest we came to your neck of the continent. I was so jealous of the vacation time that is typical in other countries, so many people we ran into while traveling there were on 4-5 week vacations. Love to make another trip back although I dread the time over on the plane.
