mppalms 5 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Two Laccospadix australasica, clumping forms, approx 2 ft. in 1g pots, exposed to sky on a hillside in Menlo Park (CA). Saw 28.1 deg F (right near measurement point) on the worst night (1/13). No damage whatsover. I was in Barcelona, then London, and "watched" the freeze in horror from afar. (FWIW, it was no less than 8 deg. C in London every day.) I'm pretty impressed, though I experienced a bit of cold when I visited the Atherton Tablelands in Nov (< 0 deg. C a couple of mornings). KrisKupsch 62 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 Parts of the Atherton and nearby but higher Evelyn Tableland received -8C during June 2008. All the highlands in this area can be very cold in winter.
