seed storage

Hello to all: I am new to the site. I have a question in regards to seed storage. How is the best way to store palm seeds? I have taken the outside layer off of the seeds. Also if stored right, how long do you think the seed would be viable.

Thanks Brian

elskel, welcome to the forums.  Best thing to do with the seeds is to wrap them up in an envelope or sandwitch bag and store them in a cool, dark place like a closet.  As far as the long term viability of the seeds, they vary between the type of palms.   Some are viable for only a few months while others last for years.  I would check on the particular seeds that you have.  There are many people here who could give you a good estimate on your seed's viability.
