Yesterday The Palm Society of SoCal met at the famous and very established garden of Ralph Velez. Here are a few pictures.

Ralph's place kinda sticks out.

Excellent shots Vince! Thanx... I hope you don't mind me adding a few shots (mine distinguished by the inferior quality to Vinces work).. but Its nice to keep it all together I am beginning to think rather than multiple threads.. I dunno.

Danny- I saw at least a few from Hawaii, and (Frito) Luke made it out from Florida! over 60 to be sure

July ave 105 high and 80 low

About 4 to 8 frost a year...ave yearly min temp about 27F

About 8 inches of rain a year.
