Warn Status

Recommended Posts

It's only seen by you (everyone has one) and lets your "warn" status. If you have been warned for inappropriate activity, Big Brother (aka "The Moderator) will change your status. I don't know how it looks to be warned but I guess it turns yellow then red then you are forbidden to own palms or something like that.

As mentioned - if your Warn Status is zero, you don't have anything to worry about.

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.

It so happens that we have a few "Warning Veterans" on PalmTalk. They can tell you what NOT to do! :mrlooney:

And just as a little reminder. There are generally three levels:

First warning - a one week suspension

Second warning - a two week suspension

Third warning - permanent suspension and automatic transfer to the dreaded Stumphead category! :mrlooney:

And I said "generally three levels" because exceptions can be made. Each case is different. If an individual is willing to take responsibility for his or her actions with a sincere apology that can make a difference. As opposed to someone who refuses to admit to any wrongdoing. We have had both.

Jeff, with all due respect, I think if you tell us what you did to the palm (in your avatar) after you gave it that kiss. I'm sure that will get you a warning. :floor:

A posted F-bomb should suffice to test your warn status Mr. Searle. :hmm:
