Richards roommate replied to my message....he's in the hospital in SF and will have surgery today.

Richard Douglas has had his surgery , operation went well , he is expected to have a full recovery

That's great news! Please let him know that we do care and he has a large family here wishing him for a full, speedy recovery. And tell him his palms are overdue to be fertilized and that his 18' Pelagodoxa has begun dropping fruit in the garden and he needs to plant them right away! :D

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.
