A number of specimens:

Three in the ground, exposed to four days of about 27 F, all  night, each about 2' (.66 m) tall, no damage.

Four or five more, in pots, about the same size, three days of 24.8 F (-4 C) and one of 28 F (-1 C) no damage.

25F and many hours and nights at or below freezing. 2 feet tall. No damage

Trunking specimen in a 48" container 100% defoliated but no spear pull at 13F and 36 hours below freezing. Now has 5 new leaves.
