Your garden is fantastic! If I ever get to visit the Chiang Mai area, would an invitation be in line? If you ever get to Hawaii (Big Island) let me know also.

Al in Kona

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!

pilou, I love your garden. It has such a serene sense of maturity and I can't imagine you not loving every minute spent there.

Philippe,

Beau travail !

Do you also face some drought time?

In Sri Lanka, west part (48 km from Ratnapura), we suffer since last december: no rain... wells are soon empty, rivers too!

can your palms recover after such a period?

Kindest regards

Philippe
