Dypsis albofarinosa

Recommended Posts

MattyB

Dypsis albofarinosa, 1 gallon size plant, planted next to a 5 foot wood fence.

24.1F, no frost, covered w/ a sheet

No apparent damage.

Note:  The newest leaf is having a real slow go at turning green.  It's very white still due to ongoing cold temps this month.

Oops... above comment was supposed to go under Dypsis ambositrae.. ignore that!  have about 6 dinky seedlings of ths species about the yard.  All damaged after 27F for 5 hours, but some more than others (depended on degree of protection).  The oldest plant was hardest hit, and will probably not make it.
