Yeah, needle palm--Matty, I got to this thread late; I was gonna say Actinokentia with the hint of round petioles(that gave it away for me)...

So, we have no open games at the moment. I'll kick it off again. Here's a pretty full shot of a very rarely seen palm in cultivation. It's growing at Louis Hooper's garden in California. Can you guess what it is? :winkie:

It does look like that to me too. It was supposed to be

Syagrus ruschiana. Sorry, I should have a positive I.D. before I post something. I'll look for another pic.

Hey, Matty. It is hard to tell how big that plant is from the photo, but I am going to go with a species of Chamaedorea.... possibly C. ernesti-augusti.
