Mine's been quite a little trooper through all this. There are Archys near it that burned a bit, fried hibiscus, and a nearly fried coral tree. This little royal is at least promising. It's wishing for warm weather though, I bet. I'll take pictures when I have time.

All ten plants (potted up to 5g in Oct.) have called it quits! Not one survived. They were aclimating a bit, coming out of a green house at that time and being repotted. These were under eucalytus trees for canopy at the highest elevation on the property.

No wind exposure. Saw 32F. Frost one night. Certainly not as cold hardy as the regia, of which I have lost only 10 out of 30 and are at a lower location on the property and had zero canopy. The regias came out of the same green house at the same time and were potted up to 5g's then as well.
