rsproule 3 Report post Posted January 16, 2007 Reclinata/Rupicola multi-trunk hybrid planted 2 1/2 years ago. Largest trunk has 1.5’ of clear trunk. Low of 22F with no frost and no overhead protection. Put single light 100W bulb underneath. No damage or any sign of stress. Geoff 267 Report post Posted January 26, 2007 Two seedlings in yard- one in raised pot about 18" tall and 6 years old showed moderate leaf burn on uppermost leaves only. ghar41 201 Report post Posted June 5, 2007 I have two of these that I covered with heavy duty garbage bags. The one closest to my house suffered 20% leaf burn. Low temp reading of 24.9F taken very near this plant. The other (20 feet away from my house) suffered 30-40% leaf burn, then the spear pulled out 2 months later.
