This is one of my oldest, largest palms (got as a 20 gal last year, with a lot of protected long leaves and only about 5 'hardened' leaves- been in ground about 8 months).  All leaves pretty badly torched, including hardened leaves.  Opening spike seems untouched, though.  Temp around the corner of the house was 27F for 5 hours, but could be colder here as the nearby Livistona saribus clump was prett badly burned, while out in the lawn where I did know the temps were 27F, they were undamaged... so I suspect it got a few degrees colder where this palm was.  2' of clear trunk on this one.

Ouch.. damage worse than I thought 3 weeks later
