this dewd had a cool shirt.

we were flying with "air asia," a fairly new airline based in kuala lumpur. garuda airlines

would not even book our flight online without an indonesian credit card.

this photo was taken to show the a/c vapor as we boarded.

shopping malls with hotels & apartments on top are common here.

if you dont live close to where you work in this city you can count on

a commute that is hours long.

beautiful livistona rotundifolia right at "eye level."

besides being home to the famous bogor botanical garden, bogor is known as

"rain city." every evening right before dark it starts to pour down rain for

about an hour.

Thanks. Can't wait to see the rest. Jakarta is really bad trafic wise. There is a great comunity restaurant in the centre of jakarta near the Hilton or Intercontinental Hotel. Yu go up some steps and there are many stands and you just order from any of them in this huge hall and someone will bring it to you. I also spent some time on the islands near jakarta like papa sepa where I just snorkeled all day and the beaches were completely empty. Have fun and thanks again for the pics.

& some green onion & you have a wonderful breakfast.
