The San Francisco fog reached Walnut Creek yesterday and expected for the next few days. It burned off by 9:30 AM, but was coolish and breezy the rest of the day. It felt good after the heat wave we had last week.

Hi Dick,

How hot did it get in the San Ramon Valley last week? I know it was well over 100F\ 37.7C in the Central Valley. Another heat wave is heading our way starting this weekend so expect hot temps in Walnut Creek. It appears the humidity will not be as high as the last heat wave.

Very pleasant and barely 80F\ 26.6C today.

Hi Hap,

Last week I had several days at or above 100F. I think the warmest day was around 104F. It's cooled off quite a bit this week with highs around 80. This morning the fog has come quite far inland reaching Modesto, Merced and Sacramento.

Wow, coastal clouds all the way to Modesto! That's a strong marine surge. It did not clear until after noon here today and was so comfortable [only 78F\ 25.5C]. Nights in the 60's make for great sleeping. There aren't many regions of the U.S. that can claim such mild weather! B) But the National Weather Service is forecasting 98F\ 36.6C by Tuesday of next week in Pasadena. Back above 100F in the Central Valley.
