Some Mango seeds

Recommended Posts

I have a half dozen Mango seeds of variety Gulab Khas. This is a large leafed (the sort that produces a red flush of new leaves) early mango variety that ripens to a yellow fruit with a red top no less brilliant than a chambeyronia flush. The fruit is more sour than sweet and is reasonably large. If any one wants a pair or more, let me know. Naturally these seeds though capable of producing vigorous seedlings and large trees are no good for producing quality fruit(though the unripe fruit is equally delicious).

Here is a photo of the mango type, taken off the internet.

An interesting write up of this variety can be read at http://www.urdustudies.com/pdf/15/30sengupta.pdf

That's quite a lot of growth in 17 days. Must have started germinating while in the post.
