Whilst the young Wodyeti has quite a scrappy looking new leaf opening event. Like someone has gone crazy with the scissors.

Hi Peter, I'm more than just a little curious, and forgive me if you have said previously, but how much land do you have, that is, how much is gardened with palms and other exotics ?

I'd love to come see, naturally.

Hi Wal, we have 20 acres which backs onto forest. ( Was ex bare cattle grazing land) Our gardens consist mainly of local and nth qld rainforest trees, exotics, eucalypts, bamboo, bromeliads, and of course Palms and Cycads. The Plantings are always ongoing but are already quite extensive. Wal i really want some dry time to get the tractor slashing etc and tidying up after all the summer rains and now our autumn rains the weeds are a Plenty. Pete

Great toppic. :)

It is amazing to look at all those beautiful plants / palms.

Well, as far as I understand the new leaf is one that has been opened? Okay I have to offer 2 new leaves of 2 H. forsterianas. The first 2 pics are of "Nemesis" (my very large Howea in the living room), the last one of a Howea in the room of my youngest son.

Best regards, Verena
