Very nice the taste of France!

In so many ways it looks like Southern California...with different city architecture.

Lovely! Thanks.

And a pretty lady entranced in the sound of her headphones..

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Beautiful country photos. You have a great back yard BTW. I love all the plants and colors that are incorporated in it. Looks like a great place to dine and hang out.

hey!

thanks, for your reply!

I've done this garden 2 years ago.

My mother told me,"do, what do you wanna do, i'm confident " i said "yep ok mum" so i've decided to create an arabic's mediteranean garden, because it's my origin (algeria).

so i've built an oriental fontaine and i've planted palms, bananas, aloe, yucas, wisteria, olive tree, limon tree, fig tree and others!

but right now my garden is a real job, because we're building a pool, and i got the idea to introduce a water fall, and to plant phoenix robinelii and archontophoenix,( i love those palms ! lol )

And thanks, because i take the ideas in your garden, the americain garden, the califronian garden!!

i'll post some pics later! as before and after!i love those post!

excuse me if i done some mistakes,(i'm french)i'm 18! so, my english isn't perfect! lol

have a nice day!

I like those Archontophoenix, they look a lot better than your winter temperature statistics would suggest. How much extra water do they get?

Beautiful looking area.

summer 25C/15C

winter 15C/6C

on the french riviera in winter the weather never freeze! and if one day it's freeze it's gonna be -2°C 28°F. we ve got a mediterranean climat with hot summer and dry, we got around 550mm or 21.653 pouces of water by year!

Monaco has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate ( Köppen climate classification : Csa), which is influenced by the oceanic climate and the humid subtropical climate .

As a result, it has warm, dry summers and mild, rainy winters. Cool and rainy interludes can interrupt the dry summer season, the average length of which is also shorter. Summer afternoons are infrequently hot (indeed, temperatures > 30 °C /86 °F are rare) as the atmosphere is temperate by constant sea breezes. On the other hand, the nights are very mild, this being due to the fairly high temperature of the sea in summer. Generally, temperatures do not drop below 20 °C in this season. In winter, frosts and snowfalls are extremely rare, generally occurring once or twice every ten years.

Lots of great color and idea's Sam!

Are your girlfriend and the blonde girl with short hair the same girl?

I have had 3 Cadillac's...

That looks like a 1976 Eldorado convertible... nice ride...does it run?

Plus, from what I understand, your climate is about the same as Coastal Southern California...

Great shots and if that is the only cold damage you got with the Greenland Block, I would say your climate is bullet proof. Can you tell me the variety of Palm in Post 9,three down on the left.It has a long green crownshaft. At 43 degrees North, it is truly amazing.

My wife still talks about how much she enjoyed the South of France with it's remarkable beauty. The best of all she said were the people, who were great.

Your shots of the Palms are outstanding but most importantly keep including your shots of your girl friends. You have great taste in that department also. Please keep us updated!

What you look for is what is looking

The south of France I guess is the nicest part of France! The perfect climate, landscape and the plants you can grow there! And that at the same latitude as Vladivostok at 43 degrees north!
