"Royally" leaning...

That certainly is a list.

Why is it doing that?

You can stake it, but you need to cure the underlying problem.

Sometimes, if a palm like that is planted too shallowly, they "teeter" on their roots. If that's the case, you can pile dirt around the base, stake it straight and solve the problem.

Let us know what you find.

Dave, I think you nailed it. I planted this palm a couple of years ago and didn't think it was shallow planted at the time, but I think it's initial pot planting was the problem. I have always thought it was a bit weebly/wobbly....

How high should I bring the dirt u around it??

Up to about where the base flares out at its widest point. Use bricks, stones, etc., if you have to to hold the soil in place.

Once the palm re-roots, it will get HUGE and stand alone.

I'll have to dig up the pics of Tassie Troy and me, to give an idea how huge.

(Three feet across, sometimes.)

Cool! Lean it out more, away from the house, stake it, stack some rocks around it, pile mulch around it. It'll straighten up on it's own. If you're lucky it'll develope a beautiful curve at the base like a coconut. I'm not sure it's big enough to have a dramatic curve but a slight one will look cool.
