Jeff,

This plant came from Lauren in the spring time and has been sitting in pumice doing its deal. i have not checked for roots in a long time the last time i looked it had several nubs pushing out from the bottom and figured to let it do its deal to produce roots. At this time Lauren had 3 offsets, two of which he sold to one guy that wanted all 3 but i was lucky enough to get one. He said that it would be a long time before he takes anymore off because the 2 on the plant are only a inch. I do not really want to sell or trade the plant unless it is something i can not refuse. The plant has not yet flushed but wouldn't be surprised if it did this spring when it warms up.

Aussie,

It is indeed a male. I know one of these sold in auction in africa this summer for 500 thousand usd it had about 5 ft of trunk. id guess about 30+ years of growth, but talk about a retirement check!
