some possible rhopalostylis sapida hybrids

R. baueri and cheesemanni seem to thrive in my climate but I have trouble keeping sapida alive in summer unless I water them twice a day. Those hybrids look lovely and would probably be a better choice for around here than a pure sappie.

Just reviving this old thread as I'm wondering whether anyone has tried hybridising R. baueri and R. sapida? Perhaps the hybrid vigour would also give an extra degree or two of hardiness.... wishful thinking perhaps :D
