Kris, what a beautiful oasis you have created! I really enjoyed seeing the roof top garden, it looks like it too would be a serene place to relax and meditate....even when watering all off the plants you have amassed.

Great work you are doing!

Great pictures Kris...

You really have a nice green thumb. The Adenium looks neat...how often do you have it watered?

I love the marble floor too...looks like the Taj Mahal  :)

About the Borassus seeds:

I've placed mine semi-buried on top of loooong (1.2 m) PVC tubes filled with sand and placed in a warm garage, recommending waterings every other day. 4 of them had already sprouted their long and thick initial roots (+ - 25 cm) but they haven't shown their first leaves yet. I keep wondering if a diameter of mere 100 mm PVC tube is wide enough for the remote germinating seeds to return to the surface or if they may get entangled and not able to resprout...

Btw, How's your fiancee? I'm planning to attend your wedding too... :;):  Where are those pictures you promised?

Kris,

You poor guy! You are sick like the rest of us. And in your rooms, I see plenty of wall space where you can add shelves or a nice potting-up bench. No waits, lets get moving!

Dear Gileano  :)

you said i have a green thumb but my garden friends...Squrieals don't seem to like my hobby that much... :D

And the adenium is watered every alternate days and no watering in rainy & winter season.because of our proximity to the sea shore/humidity.and i have told you my soil is sandy & very porous.nothing stays in it.so even i have to use fertz regularly too.

the marble floor is from Makrana(Rajasthan state in india)we get very cheap marble for flooring purpose but not to the quality that our italian friends have in their mansions..now in india only granite flooring is the fashion.

but i personally feel marble is much cooler than granite, since its hot here throught the year.

Never put or grow seeds in groups, they love to in indugual containers or pipes..And there is bit confusion over the method one could try here is a link sent to me my our friend Alicehunter2000(David)_

http://www.pacsoa.org.au/palms/Borassus/flabelliferB.html

And as for the updates & coverage of my engagement & wedding function,i thought i will do an exclusive in our palapa thread but now palapa is history ? so i will keep you all updated by mailing you stills to your E.Mail accounts !  :)

Thanks & lots of love,

Kris  :)
