Angela, excellent photography as always! :) I'm glad to see your posting them here again.

By the way, that anthurium growing on the tree in the cat pic is a knockout!

Hi Angela,

Ok...OK, I"m really liking this side of the island all of a sudden. Your pictures are beautiful! Even the view from the local coffee shack is nice. In all my visits to the Big Island, I still have not made it over to the Kona side. That will change the next visit! Any spare bedrooms at the house? :D

Gorgeous....and thanks.

Tim (Realarch) and Bob are here visiting me and I've been hearing lots of great info about the Big Island. I can't wait to visit there! Please post more photos when you get a chance.

The colors are gorgeous!

Do you use a filter?

Hi Gene, no I don't, I am experimenting with a photography technique where you combine several photos of different exposures and it gets blended into one. Then it gets tweaked in photoshop. These are just experiments so far! Next time I need to use a tripod!

Thanks Bren! I guess that "anthurium" is a philodendron species from Central America. :)

Kami punya tiga kucing juga!

Here are some regular snap shots of our kitties.... no artsie stuff. Do you have pictures of your cats? You should post some!

This is Smudge our newest cat that showed up. He was totally feral but I am a cat whisperer. I guess he is a blue point siamese. Sorry for the low quality... I forgot where the originals are!

This is our first kitty "Tiki" He showed up when he was about 5-6 mos. old. It took about 6 mos. before he let me finally pet him. Now he's super sweet.

They all seem happy :). Here is Olivine (Ollie) - silver tabby british shorthaired. I call him Olivine (from the gem) since he is supposed to have green eyes, but he doesn't - but I thought the name suits him anyway.

Here is Jazz - the brown burmese... The best cat ever!!! He has lots of patience with the kids. They can be rough, they carry him upside down, they can smack him & push him off the bed, and he kept on coming back for more. My favourite breed... for sure.

post-512-12812640148259_thumb.jpg

And cocoa - the seal point exotics. Gentle cat... absolutely loved cuddles & a typical lap cat.

I have to get better pics of my cats. I just realised most of the photos were taken when they were kittens...
