Utopia Palms 426 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Hi Jeff, there are at least 20+ dypsis photos to put on yet. I will send some photo of the shadehouses and some of the gardens bit by bit , but there is no way unless a computer expert drops in of me putting video on the site, I will problably destory the computer before any video made it on, we could all be old and grey by then!!. ps how do I change the name of this topic to "dypsis photos"or should i just start a new one!,I did not mean to put my name up there still working things out !! Matt in SD 269 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Awesome photos. I've seen the Utopia palms website a few times and from the plant lists it's made me wish I lived in Australia! Thanks for posting. Is the mystery palm a decaryi x cabadae hybrid? It seems to me that it must be a hybrid. Matt
MattyB 2,017 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Clayton, may I suggest that you look into the Photobucket/server method of posting. You upload your pics to the photobucket/server and then you can post multiple pics per post, but more importantly, w/ brilliant pics like yours, they are full size and much more detailed. Just a suggestion. There's info on how to do this in the admin. section of this site. Thanks for all the wonderful pics. -Matt Edit: Oh, darn it that info on photobucket that Christian posted dosen't seem to be in the admin section anymore. Dean, can you help? Don't you agree that Clayton's photos are worth the higher quality.

bgl 3,142 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Great photos Clayton! Thanks for posting! About the method, I realize a lot of people are using Photobucket, and that seems to be an excellent way. I have never used Photobucket. I simply post one photo at a time (and mine, for whatever reason, comes out larger than Clayton's in this thread) and the quality seems to be perfectly fine. Also, I happen to prefer the one-at-a-time approach because that way I can put a name, or description, for each individual photo without any risk of confusion. Sometimes with multiple photos when there's text between two photos I have to do a double-check whether the text refers to the photo above or below. If it's just a question of Clayton posting larger photos, I'm sure that there's a way for him to do that directly into a specific thread.
