that evening we went to "warung enak" for dinner."enak" means "delicious."

so we went to a cool little hotel called "puri bambu,"only 5 minute walk from the beach.

bintang & "garlicky" roasted peanuts in the hotel resto with nice breezes.

after dinner we hit the pool but it rained so we sat at the pool bar & chatted with the staff for 3 hrs.

this place was pretty booked-up while the mega-hotel down the street was empty.

Paul, It looks like you and Jess had an awesome time! You can tell from the pictures the locals seem very friendly. The Balinese architecture is incredible! Note to self: Move Bali to top of bucket list :) .
