hotel "puri bunga" was totally run-down last time i was there but recently bought by kuta

hotel chain that has fixed it up a bit.

do i look as uncomfortable as i was? as you may have guessed by the tarp in the last shots it was raining ALOT so it was extra hot & humid.

we were no where near acclimated to the climate since we had just arrived the afternoon before.

pool bar & resto.the restaurant was pretty average,we went out alot,even for breakfast although it was free at the hotel.

not too many visitors besides us,i'd say we saw about 6 other couples.

You know, the first pics of you in the LA airport and all bundled up, I thought you were really on your way back to Montana or where that boring. Opps,sorry, that fascinating trip you made where it was really cold. My bad.

Anyways, your pictures are really cool so far. Especially the cow's butts. Once in a million your ever going to see that again in Bali, aye?

Ubud brings back some great memories for me personally. Isn't that where the monkey park is? I almost got attacked and mauled in there because I had a big stick in my hand. Protecting Andrea. Andrea got really pissed at me.

I was going to ask the same thing Paul...In my mind I've always pictured Bali with paradisiac beaches, perfect waves, coconuts by the sea and Salak palms fruiting in the backyard...

Your photos are always nice anyway (except for the cockfights, I'll tell ya...) these hotels look perfect and the gardens are superb...Say hello to Jess...was it her first time in Bali?
