There are many use of Nypa here. Apart from I've mention above, their leaf use to be roofing material, fresh fruits can eat, see this pic

taste same like Arenga pinata and Borassus flabellifer  :laugh:

The next month is fresh Nypa harvesting season. that time our people'll bring their fruits to sell beside the road. Wow if I have an occasion on Chachoengsao, I want take some pics.  :laugh:

And use to roll simple cigarettes, since our ancestor use this type of cigarettes cause cheap and Nypa leaf have unique fragrance. To nowaday it's still popular.
