BS,

You have to ask Daryl or Mike Green for that... I got given a 'true' lucubensis by Mike Green. Here is it... doing very well..

Hello Ari,

Great looking plants there. I would love to see some more foxy lady shots.

What type of syagrus is that?

Laura

The foxy lady is getting too tall for closer shots.. I will try to take more soon.

The syagrus are Syagrus schizophylla. A small species...

An Agave flowering is pretty spectacular, and look at it this way, you get the fun of choosing and planting another when it's all done.

Enjoyed the pics of your very nice garden Ari.

Lovely Ari ,, how is your Arenga undulatifolia ? Mine has put up a few enormous leaves and some good suckers . I must attack the surrounding weed infestation .

It is doing better now.... It had spent a few years of its life in the shade and then I put it in the sun!! It didn't like it one bit, so it went backwards a little (or a lot...). It is not good enough to take picture of as yet. Hopefully it will be away by the end of the wet... The fact that it is not dead yet, is a big thing....

Good luck with the weeds... We have that problem here too... I used 300 bales of hay to keep it under control, but still they are growing through!! I guess that is the downside of good growing season...

Regards, Ari :)

Great garden Ari.

Your Hydriastele ramsayi and costata are fantastic. I wish we could grow them here in Sth Qld. Same with the breadfruit.

Good to see the good growth of your palms.

Must come up to Darwin one day.

Thanks Brod.. I am very happy with the way those 2 are growing. I have 3 others H. costata growing.. but that one in particular is very accessible since it is on the side of the driveway. Come to Darwin anytime... It is a great place (well, I think so... anyway...)
