I never use that option.

I believe "viewing board index" is when you're just logged on to PalmTalk and you're not in a specific sub-forum (or sending a PM). In other words, logged on but not doing anything. Dean should be able to confirm.

I agree with you, that sounds logical. But i thought pohonkelapa was trying to say about looking "who's doing what online". If not, then how would he know what most of others are doing.

'Viewing board index' is what happens when you click on palmtalk, then get distracted by work and have to click over to another screen for the next 3 hours...

"Viewing board index" is not a good title for a song but it might be a good album title. Hmm, what would the track listing be ?

paul.....

when you click on the "Last Click" or "Member Name" link and the list page comes up, those listed as "viewing board index" are viewing the "homepage" of the forum.....

the "nosy" people (the ones seeing what everyone else is doing) are those who are listed as "viewing online list"

Bo....

the board actually tells you when someone is busy creating a PM when you click on member list or last click.....the designation "Using Personal Messenger" is assigned to your name!
