Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Great job Nick! Very clean, and it looks like everything was done with real craftsmanship. I think this will give you a real boost when trying to introduce those tender species that you seem to have such good luck with already.

I wanted to find out how your Harbor Freight greenhouse is holding up .....? My make shift cold frame has seen better days and I'm thinking of getting the 10 X 12ft from HF. Anybody else that has one ... any advise?

My greenhouse is holding up great! The only real maintenance if you choose to do it is to wash off the dirt and water spots to let more light in. Otherwise its been a great and cheap greenhouse. If you go with Harbor Freight just be prepared to adlib a bit when building it. I would certainly add climate controls as well.
