It's 12:50 in Valrico, FL and only 59 degrees and windy - a little colder then anticipated so far!

Its nice to be chilly once in awhile in FL being a northern transplant.....

John, A cool breeze is a sweet thing when you have been used to 80F low temperatures. Our High today is Mid-70's with possible low dropping below 60F. As Peg says, we have a dry, clear weekend with Highs around 80F with lows around 60F and much lower humidity. California weather!

John, are you up in the Bay Area again? Or in the Pacific NW?

By November people in California are ready for summer to be over & look forward to cooler temps. You can only image how much folks in Florida welcome the cooler air. It's like a celebration.

I didn't realize it would be so cold this morning. I left a window open last night and it was 65F inside when I woke up! I just turn the heater on for the first time. It's 53F right now, but the high will be 75F today, so I will be outside soon.

Happ,

Bay Area.......It seems colder this year than any of the previous years. Maybe its because I am older and severe temps high or low give me grief.

I grew up in SoCal and moved to NorCal in 1982......these two areas are completely different.....

BTW, we are expecting mid-30s over the weekend and into early next week.

13 C. AM low in W. Broward Co. It looks beautiful out but I can't seem to get comfortable in it. Got flannel shirt on and thermal undershirt but still the breeze is annoyingly cool. What? Has it been 8 mos. since it was last this temperature? Probably so. I think that I'm ready for another batch of 20 C. to 26 C. (at least till New Years' Day.) I usually throw January out here as a lost cause because it's either windy, cloudy, misty, dank, chilly or just damn cold, and/or dreary. Feb. brings a modicum of hope here although not too much! March, ah, longer days and probably no more 7-10 C. noches.

In the meantime, download lotsa MP3s and eat holiday stuff. That's 'bout it.

Yup, that's about it!
