Looking great there Andrew!!

Good reason for me to update my "too heavily shaded" original!

Stretched as It really only gets sun a month or two a year. My "other" one in the sun was taken out by a gopher a couple years back as I didn't give protection.. :(

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

These are great growers for SoCal! Starting to get some of the white powder on the trunk/crown shaft as it gets older.

These are so cool! I just put in a 5g Pyriformis this spring. Growing good, it seems to be taking the sun really well.

What’s the growth rate been like for yours?

Great bumps!

I scored this at our So Cal Palm tour to the Hamanns place yesterday!

It will replace one taken out via gophers a year or so ago.
