hahahahahaa!! The yard is great although there aren't many different palms planted. That is a butter avocado that I'm holding. By far the best avocado I've ever had come from my grandpa's tree!!

I often used to ask about it_to Bo Goran,and

came to know it grows best on the other islands.

so iam glad to see them grown in your grandpap's

garden.

That's the type of coconut palms my wife would like, where you can just pluck off the fruit whilst standing or bending by the looks.

Your very first picture of the dwarf Coconut sure looks a lot like one I got a couple years ago called Molokai Super Dwarf.

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

 

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).  

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.  

Nice sunsets!
