Well finally this is starting to pick up. I've been working with the Palm Springs Tramway since April, providing forecasts for them. I just recently picked up another client and to my surprise who it was when they called. (BP) British Petroleum wants me to be on their meteorologist staff for six cities in this region and make "custom weather watches" like I do with SCWXA.org.

They are a major company so this is a big thing for my work. Very happy.

Also, the bay area thunderstorms were predictable. Upper level low and enough mid/upper level moisture would set those off in what we mets call "elevated instability", similar to what we experienced in Southern California back in June.

UJEAS Update: UJEAS did not update, but information looks good for us down here on it. No offshore santa ana winds this month seen in the long range yet, as UJEAS did advertise. We will have a major ridge for a heatwave likely around the third week of this month. This could be a hot one.

Talk to you later! UJEAS October comes out on October 1st if this UJEAS works out.
