Slate used to surf Pavillion (Palmetto Park - my old stompin' grounds) back in the hayday... I never knew him - he ran with the badboy crowd back then. All those cats ended up with strange lifestyles, one crashed a plance flyin kilos from Columbia, another got busted with literally 100's of lbs of reefa in North Carolina, ones a porn stud and Kelly stayed straight on the waves. Life can be weird.
