Here I am in St.Louie... We'll be heading back to Tampa Tuesday... I can't wait!

This is ZERO palm country.

I have seen not one... Surprised to see banana trees though... ?

Tour the Bud factory? I worked in St. Louis for a while and really enjoyed my time there.

Gulf Coast climate with long hot and humid growing season, but short winters are cold and wet with several frosts. Typical lowest temp of between 22F-26F each winter with around a dozen or so nights below freezing.

Naw I haven't. But I am going to MOBOT today. (Missouri Botanical Gardens), and I hear there's a double coconut there!

I was expecting to see photos from Missouri Botanical Garden, where there is a huge geodesic-dome greenhouse with lots of palms, even a double coconut (Lodoicia maldivica). Very nice photos nevertheless. Thank you for posting them.
