The ol'pirate jumped ship and is plundering and pilageing in new frontiers...beware maties, no palm or cycad is safe or sacred as I carry me sack of dabloons and me gnarled paws will surely be grubbing the dirt like crazed golddigger! Aaaarrggh!

I'm in Oakland. We can grow 80-90% of what you can. No frost for 20+ years but we lack heat. To us 75F is a normal day. 85 is hot. So things are much, much slower. We've been here since '89 and my palms don't look like that.

Moose as you know Bob ,palm curry and i went back for a look when i was over there in May ! The house is still for Sale !

Really really nice! Also drooling over his cycad collection! Very sweet indeed! The whole package makes me look forward to the next 25 years of catching up my garden has to do :)

Pogobob has already sold this place nearly 2 yrs ago and has a great new garden in Vista . His next door neighbor bought his old house and it is up for sale again !
