i was invited by my friend tracy to go on an 8-day cruise to mexico with her family for her husband mark's 50th birthday(tracy is the mother of lauren, who accompanied me to bali last year).i have never been on a cruise before so i thought "what the heck, sounds fun."i had no idea what to expect.

part I: "the embarkationing."

Picture001.jpg

tracy & mark.they kinda remind me of lucy & ricky from "i love lucy," the stereotypes are ALL there.

Picture004.jpg

part III: the 1st day at sea.

i drank a latte at dinner the night before so i didn't sleep at all the 1st nite, which made it easier to hear my room mate "peter"

snoring & talking in his sleep all nite.

he'd say things like "what?i have a hernia?," or "what? i lost ALL my money?" or just laugh hysterically between 90 db snores.

dewd,

that was some good one-liners with the pictures. u already have me laughing and waiting for some more.

but you in the monkey suit? omg....i had to take the double take to make sure that was really you. and i see you even got a haircut before you went. Smart, you look good.

So, by now you must be out to sea heading maybe to sunny south florida? You should arrive here just in time for our big sale in a couple of weeks. I just knew you were really coming. just give me a call and i'll pick you up at the docks.

Look forward to more pictures, and as they say here on Palmtalk......"love your pics".

Paul...You picked the WRONG ship! I don't know about San Diego, but we usually board from San Pedro. There is always one ship for "family" and one ship for "singles"...Of course, I haven't been on the "single" ship since I got married. :mrlooney:
