Hope the shoot went well, Matt. Those are some great vista shots over SM Bay. I've never stopped on any of those roads before on my way either, to or from, the Valley. There used to be a great restaurant up there called the Saddle Peak Lodge. Anyway, let us know how it turms out.

Bill, stop upstaging me.

John, we were right off of Sadle Peak Road but I didn't see a lodge. I was too busy trying not to careen off the cliffs!!!!

Here's day 4, the last day of shooting Generation Green's pilot epidode.

On my way from Hollywood down to the 10 I always turn on La Cieniga and you catch a nice view of the Wilshire District for a second. Hi Scott! Scott works down there at E!

Back in Venice for the exteriors of our apartment. Tanya getting her pic taken by set photographer, Paloma. Paloma's from Peru. Say that 10 times fast.

Some monster truck action.

Lot's of waiting on the set so I spotted this huge Lime tree. Biggest I've ever seen. Everyone thought it was a lemon tree because the fruit was yellow. Ripe limes....derrrrrrrr! Don't buy green limes people, you're cheating yourselves.

Arsty fartsy.

week3-022.jpg

Here we are posted up in the alley. If there was another film crew in the alley, we'd start snapping our fingers, dance and fight them to a jazzy show tune.

Well if you didn't have a camera crew following you around all the time baby maybe I'd be more intimate.

week3-035.jpg

It was Valentines day so some yabo had to hire a sky-writter to smoke out "Your Mio (heart)" First of all, it's "You're". B, you're mixing two different languages. And 3, that skywritter has the worst planemenship ever!!!!!!

week3-037.jpg

 I took Jen out for an IHOP dinner for Valentines. And yes I used a coupon. And yes she paid.

week3-040.jpg

Back to work! Rory, poised on the edge of the road up in Topanga. We drove down PCH with a camera dude hanging out the roof of a camera car while we drove side by side in our monster trucks. When we stopped at lights, people were actually getting out of their cars and taking pictures of us. Only in LA man.

And then something bad happened.

week3-042.jpg

Uhhhh, that's not how a wheel should be! Good thing we weren't in traffic here. Apparently this truck was a show truck and wasn't made for actually driving. I guess he knows now.

week3-043.jpg

So how do we get a flat bed tow truck up here?

week3-044.jpg

The show must go on! We're losing light! I'm driving my monster truck and DP/Cameraman, Roman, is doing his famous monkey boy out the roof shot.

We ended up going north on the PCH through Malibu while they shot the last of Rory using the interior of the only working truck. Down to the wire and we're out of light! What an adventure that was. Thanks for watching everyone. That's a wrap. :)

Wow, Matty!

Break a leg, drink a keg, stay out of ad-seg . . . . . sing a show tune on key . . . . .

(Need an operatic baritone to help?)

That red tubular vine thingy is a Distictus buccintoria (sounds like a dude from the Partridge family . . . . .)
