NOAA is predicting a week of freezing weather for us in North (central) Florida bottoming out on Friday with a potential low of 22F. Weather.com is projecting it to be 30F on Friday. Not sure what weather.com is seeing vs. NOAA.

It certainly looks like a chilly week for my area. However, the good news looks like for me that my minimum for accuweather looks like 39 F!

Oh how true, Jim, unfortunately:

I sure picked a lousy week to go to my farm in Panama! It never fails. I tended every Zone 12 plant to get through Florida's "mid winter" and the 8 days they'll be on their own, they'll get singhed by Mom Nature! Itr's not a tribute to my sense of trip planning, that's for sure. Oh well, since that's where I'm moving to in three more years, I had better be more concerned how my grove of breadfruit, sorsops and cashews are doing there (along with the sealing wax palms, pinangas, verscheffetias, coconut groves, etc.)

Lousy 16 months I'm hopefully ending: first the 40' tractor-trailer carrying 60,000 lbs. of produce runs a red light and crushes my X-terra so that I flat line and am brain dead for 3.5 minutes before revival, then I lose three huge commercial accounts because I'm in a comatose state (and they say: "sorry Paul, that's the breaks in the business world!")...now the freeze (or frost) here in Ft. Lauderdale after a complete replant job after Hurricane Wilma! Cyanide anyone?

I usually run a day earlier and just a tad warmer than North Florida. This is what we are looking at.

We have 3 of the next 7 nights predicted to be at 30 degrees and two at 33 degrees. And that is the computer prediction of weather.com (no people). The local weathermen (I got people :-)) are saying more upper 20s.
