My Echium is not showing any bud development at all....... it is a year old but it quintupuled in size. Maybe next year. It looks pretty dynamic further North say Inland Empire / LA latitude for thunderstorms with those dynamics but other than that a good refresher. I was moving plants out today.....guess I'll have to move them back under cover. I hope this is the last blast of winter, but I've been saying that for weeks. It was mild this morning but the temps are dropping with strong NNW winds gusting up to 30 MPH. If the winds subside tonight, I expect near freezing and frost. It is only 54 F here at noon. S. PalmGuyWC 1,486 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 Cold weather is not over yet. It's 38F in Walnut Creek this morning, the coldest it's been in over 2 weeks. I see it's about the same in Temecula. We may get rain on Monday, fingers crossed. My lows have been running about 48-54 and things are begining to grow. Roses and Iris in full bud and they should be georgeous next week.
