Anyone think this will happen?

If you I will do battle with the cold!

I don't see this incursion of cold air to be as directly poised at MOST of west Cal; I'd say more Shastas and in through AZ. Watch the prog maps over next 48 hours for a better "jet stream" analysis. It's a might early; if this was after the 25th, I'd be more inclined to concur with owsweather.com. I Now I consider their progs as an outlier. Let's hope they're wrong, Dan!

Take care!

We're in the time frame, though, yeah, I think [desperately, fervently hope] that it's a bit early.

If we get a storm, it might not be so bad, since it will bring rain, which, while cold and nasty won't hurt plants much. We might see temps into the upper thirties, FF at the worst.

The peril is the period of cold calm that sometimes follows a storm like that, which can bring the temps down, with a clear sky that would allow our little bit of heat to radiate off into space (the final frontier).

Time will tell.

The branches for my tree of L and D will make great smudge pot fuel . . . .

You had me sitting here thinking is there some weird pocket of cold in Los Angeles that nobody has told me about? Yeah, I'm stupid. . .the real brentwood, I get why it says that now. . .I learn something new everyday. Two brentwoods! I guess I live in a bubble down here. At any rate, I hope this level of cold doesn't hit the brentwood I'm familiar with because that means it'll be even worse in Temecula for me!

I think that the OJ Brentwood has an ordinance that will not allow temps under 45.....
