Observe carefully while BS Man transitions from Stick Pose to Downward Facing Dog.... Or is that Naughty Dog Pose?

I was told if I could make it to the door before Joe called the police, I could have the palms for free. Then he told me to wait a minute, he couldn't remember the number to 911.

Pretty sad that the 2 little Basselinia favieri I bought could be held in my right hand in that pose and I still wouldn't lose my balance.

I must add, Paul has done a fine job of catching my different side, I don't know how many different sides I have, but its alot, and usually with the combo meal.

No, we're waiting for the OK from the next two garden owners, Jon and Guy. We don't want to upset anyone by posting pics of their garden without their expressed consent...which is what happened to several of the other pictures in this thread earlier....if you didn't catch that by now. A small pause until then. Lot's more pics to come though.

Nice garden Joe. Is that a fig tree over your palm area? It's great now for the shade but may be blocking out the palms as they grow. I see that you got rid of the queens in the planter?

Thanks, everyone!

The yard is coming along. It will be fun to see how it matures. Should here back from the boys soon so Paul & Matty can post the rest of the pics. Jon & Guy's yard are 10 years older than mine. It's great to see how the palms grow and what they look like in my same climate.

Bill, Bob, Matty, and Paul were all very entertaining to say the least. I hope the PRA team will allow me to join them on their future adventures!

Bigfronds - I don't really know what the tree in my yard is. I do not believe that it is a ficus though. It sits on the North side of the yard so it doesn't block out too much sun. Actually, it creates just the right amount of shade for the palms from the afternoon sun and allows me to plant more understory plants around it. I have not gotten rid of the queens yet as I am hoping someone will take me up on the "FREE" palm offer. If not, I will remove them in the Spring.

You have a beautiful yard and will only look better as the years go on and more is planted. You seem quite the popular celeb out there with EVERYONE these days. Your name has come up on more than one ocassion.

Joe,

Thanks for the ID!

Obviously my ID was WRONG.

Still amazing how much this looks like my Kentiopsis oliviformis, leaf detail, even to the upright "shuttle cock" crown.

Your yard/garden looks great for the short time you have been working on it!
