Hi All

I was wondering if the people i have sent seed to could help me get some seed of Chamaedorea linearis, we know of only one plant in Australia and need the other sex to propagate, so if anyone can get me some seed it would be very helpful.

I would like to thank a palm talk member for organising some of these for me, they are germinating at the moment and due to his dilengence, the offspring will be shared with collectors and hopefully find there way into the wider palm enthusisasts collections

Thanks again H

When reading my last post i realised that i did not mention the word 'Australia' They have not been available here before with the exception of one Ian Edwards has, now hopefully we can introduce them over the next 5 years as they reproduce. Their are only a few of us who introduce Chamaedorea's into the system. Ian being responsible for a considerable range of species previously through his many travels and friendships in the past. Thanks to him we have the Chamaedorea species we do.

regards
