What are your other vices?

cfkingfish

Recommended Posts

Seems some of you are stating your other interests or hobbies but not vices, as I understand it. Here's some definitions of the word vice:

vice 1 (vs)

n.

1.

a. An evil, degrading, or immoral practice or habit.

b. A serious moral failing.

c. Wicked or evil conduct or habits; corruption.

2. Sexual immorality, especially prostitution.

3.

a. A slight personal failing; a foible: the vice of untidiness.

b. A flaw or imperfection; a defect.

4. A physical defect or weakness.

5. An undesirable habit, such as crib-biting, in a domestic animal.

As for me, my "other interest" would be traveling but any vices I have I guess I prefer to keep to myself! LOL. Come on now, be honest, we all do have some, if you are at all human!

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!

3.

a. A slight personal failing; a foible

b. A flaw or imperfection; a defect.

I would say my interests could be classed as vices, based on these interpretations, as they all cost more than I can afford.

Mauser,

I'd love to see your collection. Are there a lot of gun restrictions in Spain?

My whole collection is impossible to see her for a photograph. I will go by placing pictures of rare or weapons that have sentimental meaning for me.

Next weapon, which has more affection for me emotionally ... Gun "LLAMA EXTRA cal. 9X23" Used by my grandfather "Carlos" in the Spanish Civil War. All of a treasure for me.

My grandfather, when I was a child, one day in the field, hit with this weapon in a canister at 200 meters.

Mauser -

Please do show your other firearm/weapon collections. I know there are heavy restrictions in Europe, and would like to know more about them.

STAR Z 70 B, 9mm PARABELLUM

Easy handling, a weapon used in a few units of Spanish security forces.

Shoot as an UZI, but with less setback and better marksmanship. A good weapon.

You can cut small trees, destroying everything in its path.

Walther pistols are known and appreciated worldwide, the examples may be P38, the PPK. Although today there are many brands of guns, such as HK, Glock, Sig Sauer, Beretta, all with a similar operating system-based Browning
